Why do SCAN TO BIM
Most commonly known as, As-built surveys are important for a variety of reasons. They are used to ensure that the completed project meets the initial design specifications and requirements, and to identify any construction errors, discrepancies, or omissions that may affect the building’s safety, functionality, or aesthetic appeal. As-built surveys are also required for road adoption, land registry plans, and to check that buildings and street furniture are in the right place and to the correct measurements. They can be incredibly useful for anyone who has to carry out work on the scheme at any point in the future.
They form a vital part of the handover process to the client and allows for the full completion the operations and maintenance manual.
