Engineering Surveying

Detail of our services

Our experienced engineers will work alongside your on-site team to manage sub-contractors involved in piling, earthwork, volumetric surveys cut and fill analysis, design terrain models for machine control, groundwork, foundations, and superstructure workflows ensuring construction proceeds on-time and on-budget.

Why do you need Engineering Surveyors

Our Engineering Surveyors are responsible for transferring the building design onto the land itself so that the workers can follow it during construction. This is done to ensure accurate setting out of Buildings/Civils/MEP elements remain with the design scope outlined by the architects and engineers’ specifications and requirements.

The main reasons for setting out are to guide the contractor as they begin construction and to ensure that the construction remains within the legal boundary. This means there will be no legal disputes later on, such as those regarding property boundaries and rights of access.

Setting out is necessary for all construction projects that need to exist within a strict boundary, including extensions on existing buildings, building anything from a small dwelling to a retail park or a high rise, roads, bridges, tunnels, mining and quarrying.

Our Engineering Surveyors are responsible for setting out the site, levelling and surveying the site, overseeing quality control, keeping a site journal, running update meetings, resolving technical issues, being the point of liaison between architects, engineers’, and the construction team to plan and organise programmed work.
